L Ξ V A M K

Dila is a unique oak board by Slovenian designers, handcrafted in a picturesque village in the Koroška region. It combines aesthetic perfection with functionality, impressing with its innovative design. This project is a collaboration between L Ξ V A Studio, led by Lea Podvratnik, and MK Visuals, led by Miha Kolar.

The central line of the board follows the golden ratio, giving it a harmonious and balanced form. The dark part is the result of the ebonization process – a chemical reaction between iron and tannin, which enriches the oak wood with a deep, dark color.

Dila is not only a tray for decorating and presenting food but also a standalone decorative piece – a bottle holder based on balancing weight. Its beveled edge creates the illusion of levitation, sparking curiosity and admiration. The fusion of family craftsmanship and contemporary design gives the product a unique mark of timeless elegance.
